"The Harvest" on Stretched 0.75" Canvas

It is a poignant depiction of Jesus when He was lamenting in Matthew 9:37-38 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

Don't we want to be an answer to the cry of His heart?  Patton painted this image as inspiration for the body of Christ to carry the Lord's burden for the harvest of souls that must be brought in before the approaching storm of God's judgement arrives. You can see the anguish on the Savior's face which should be disturbing to all of us.
